Path of Exile Item Upgrading

Players can upgrade their weapons and equipment by adding new affixes. They can also increase its base stats or add additional benefits. To upgrade an item, a player has to have it in their inventory and have access to the kiln.

Items with weak bases, such as rings, can be upgraded into a stronger base. Items with strong bases, like the Titans of eth have little changes in their stats.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be incorporated into trinkets, weapons, armor and tools for gathering, offering an added bonus or effect while the equipment is used.
